LEAD Clubs

LEAD Clubs are offered at all CVESD schools. They offer a variety of educational and enrichment offerings that vary by school site. Examples of LEAD Clubs may include academic support, robotics, music, sports, and more. Students participating in the LEAD Clubs learn new skills and interact with peers in a physically and emotionally safe environment. Operating days and hours will vary by school site.


Los clubes LEAD se ofrecen en todas las escuelas de CVESD. Ofrecen una variedad de ofertas educativas y de enriquecimiento que varían según el plantel escolar. Ejemplos de un Club pueden incluir apoyo académico, robótica, música, deportes y más. Los estudiantes que participan en los Clubes LEAD aprenden nuevas habilidades e interactúan con sus compañeros en un ambiente físico y emocionalmente seguro. Registration Notes

  • Please only sign your child up for one club per day. This helps prevent double enrollment and ensures more students can participate in our after- school clubs at Parkview.
Commitment Reminder
  • When registering, please make sure your child is committed and interested in participating in the club(s) selected. If students are not engaging or participating, they may risk losing their spot in club. Instructors invest time and effort preparing for club curriculums and engaging our students who are excited and ready to participate regularly. 

 

  • Students who have 3 or more unexcused absences may risk losing their spot in club.

  • Please remember to pick up student/s on time. All club times/dates are posted in Jumbula.

 

  • Club end times may differ each day Monday-Thursday ranging from 4:35pm-5:35pm.

 

  • All clubs end at 4:00pm on Fridays

Students will engage in a variety of sport activities on Fridays. Sports include soccer, basketball, flag football and more!

Phonic Games

Students will learn phonics through fun activities! Phonics are the letters and sounds we create when speaking and reading. This interactive club will help students with sounding out words and playing games!

Dance Through the Decades

A high energy, music filled experience where 1st-3rd grade students travel through time- one dance move at a time! Each club day spotlights a different decade from the last century. Students will learn age-appropriate moves inspired by popular styles from each era while building confidence, rhythm, coordination and teamwork.

Sticky Fingers

Sticky Fingers is a vendor for enrichment cooking classes. Students will spark creativity, confidence, and lifelong skills with new recipes every class! Students will handle foods, recipes, global flavors and STEAM in a safe and interactive setting. This is a hands-on cooking class with no repeats! This class will be hosted once a week for the 7 weeks of Q4.

Junk Journal Club

Junk Journal Club is a creative, hands-on after-school program where students design and personalize their own journals using recycled materials, art supplies, and simple crafting techniques. Students will explore creativity through collage, drawing, light writing prompts, and mixed-media art while building fine motor skills and self-expression.

LEAD Hub Program Information

CVESD’s LEAD Hub program provides before and after school programs at all district schools. LEAD Hub aims to create a safe, supportive environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. The program combines recreation, homework assistance, and enrichment activities. LEAD Hub is available at no cost for CVESD students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade and is aligned with the school calendar. LEAD Hub hours will vary by school site and depend on the school’s start and end times. Please note that not all locations have a before school program. 

Spaces are limited. The highest priority is given to students identified as “unduplicated” (foster youth, unsheltered, students living in motels/hotels, temporarily doubled up, students in temporary shelters, English language learners, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students). At the time of registration, students must be identified in the district database as belonging to one of these categories. After the highest priority students are registered, additional students will be registered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Información del programa LEAD Hub

 

El programa LEAD Hub del CVESD ofrece programas antes y después del horario escolar en todas las escuelas del distrito. El objetivo de LEAD Hub es crear un ambiente seguro y de apoyo donde los niños puedan aprender, crecer y prosperar. El programa combina actividades recreativas, ayuda con las tareas escolares y actividades de enriquecimiento. LEAD Hub está disponible sin costo para los estudiantes de Kínder de transición hasta sexto grado del CVESD, y está alineado con el calendario escolar. Los horarios del programa LEAD Hub varían según la escuela y dependen de la hora de entrada y salida de cada plantel. Tenga en cuenta que no todas las ubicaciones ofrecen un programa antes del horario escolar. 

Los espacios son limitados. Se da la máxima prioridad a los estudiantes identificados como contados una sola vez en su categoría, (niños en hogares de crianza, sin hogar, que viven en moteles/hoteles, alojados temporalmente con otras familias, en refugios temporales, estudiantes de inglés y estudiantes con desventajas socioeconómicas). En el momento de la inscripción, la base de datos del distrito debe indicar si el estudiante pertenece a una de estas categorías. Después de inscribir a los estudiantes de prioridad más alta, los demás serán inscritos por orden de llegada.
